An additional layer of chaos was introduced to an already turbulent conflict with the terrifying return of the Dothraki during the Targaryen Civil War.

As they unleashed their vicious tactics on gullible villages & towns, the Dothraki’s arrival in Westeros caused tremendous destruction and terror. Their presence was a sobering reminder that external threats could still seriously jeopardize the stability and security of the realm, even during periods of internal strife. The Targaryen Civil War’s Devastating Aftereffects. The family had suffered greatly as a result of the widespread destruction and fatalities caused by the Targaryen Civil War.

House Targaryen’s eventual demise was made possible by the fact that both of its heirs had died, leaving the house weak and exposed. The Legacy and Power Losses. After nearly 300 years of rule over Westeros, the House Targaryen dynasty met a tragic end.
